I am an assistant professor in the Department of Economics at Bryn Mawr College.
My research examines how policy decisions affect the lives of the poor in low-income countries using econometrics, survey data, remote sensing, and GIS.
I hold a PhD in Applied Economics from the University of Minnesota and I have a MALD from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University (2012), and a BA in History from Oberlin College (2007). I was a Peace Corps volunteer in Cameroon, and spent time working in international development in Kenya and Malawi.
